Top one day courses at Dubai Design Week

With Dubai Design Week 2016 barely two weeks away, the design scene is heating up in Dubai even as temperature’s are cooling down.
The show promises to be a hub of design activity, networking and learning experiences. In this article, we focus on the various courses offered that will be the perfect way to brush up on some design skills. Voted as the world’s leading art and design university, the Royal College of Art (RCA) will offer one-day courses on a range of design disciplines. Need more reason to join? All courses are subsidized by Dubai Design District (d3). Courses include:
Interior Design Pop Ups: Workshop presenting the past, present and future of interior design pop-ups. Participants will work on proposing pop-up solutions to spatial challenges.
Curating Design: This one-day workshop explains how to curate a design exhibition, including an overview of the subject, detailed case study and a series of practical exercises.
Products for spaces- Industrial Design: In this one-day workshop, participants will learn about the techniques employed by leading global design studios. They will also have the opportunity to explore skills such as hand drawing and rapid ideation sketch-model making.
